Pimples

Let me start this with I had unprotected sex way back in December. End of March/ early April I shaved my private area and a day later I broke out around the areas I shave( base of penis and where my sac meets my leg. Later I got some what I think was jock itch.( which cleared up with cream). But I keep getting pimples in my hair and the same areas I shaved( which I haven't since April). Some of the pimples in my top hair area turn hard and have just stayed that way. They really don't hurt or itch. I've been putting tea tree oil and coconut oil on them. I had a couple on my thigh which cleared up. Can any one tell me if this sounds fungal which I've always been prone to, or an std?
