Possible std?

received unprotected oarl sex from a girl about 3 weeks ago. About a week after that I had protected sex with her but she started off with using lotion on my erection (hand job) unprotected then we proceeded to protected sex. Later that night I had a burning sensation on the skin of my penis (not urination but out side) and has come and gone past couple weeks. No new sores or broken skin but just red blotches and the skin of my penis seems slightly raised or maybe dehydrated. Als pinching sensation right at the tip of penis sometimes.

Could this be a reaction to the lotion and condom giving me a sort of chemical burn? Or is it a possible std? Going to get checked out next week as I heard you have to wait up to 3 weeks before some std's will show up on tests.

Symptoms do not start that soon for any STD. I don't think this is a STD, but see a Dr for an exam. I see no reason for testing at this point.

STD's don't "come and go", unless it is Herpes or HPV, but I don't think either of these are your problem. It sounds like you're having an irritation or allergic reaction to the condom. As for the tip of the penis irritation, it may be herpes but most likely not...it is probably a minor urinary tract infection or non-specific urethritis (NSU)
