Red Raw Patch of Skin

This was the second time I have had sex with a new boyfriend and I have not had multiple sex partners. The first time we had sex we used a condom..this time we did not..the next day after having sex I noticed the area around my clit being very tender and sensitive then eventually a rough red raw patch of skin on the inside of the skin that covers the clit..we have also been at the beach and played around in the sand...could this be an STD? or just a result of rough sex that has caused me to be irritated...there was no blister..just slightly swollen..red..irritated..
Thanks..

This could be from rough sex but if you and your BF have had other partners you both should get a full STD panel to be sure and to learn your status.
