Risk Assessment

Stupid of me again, I went to a massage parlour again yesterday, had unprotected oral sex, and protected vaginal sex, however, she was on top and after I ejaculated, she got up and I found out that the condom was not on, I think it was slipped don't know when, then I saw the base of the condom hanging out the vaginal of that girl, I really scare now, what is my risk of getting std or hiv. thanks.

we typically don't judge but weren't you really upset that you may have aquired an STD from your prior encoutner and you were afraid of giving it to your wife?? if you're going to continue to cheat you should at least wear a condom for all actions even oral, and you should wear condoms that fit so they dont come off. Oral is an extremely low risk encounter and only for certain STDs; gono, trich, ngu, HSV and syphilis. Unprotected sex is a risk for all STDs including HIV, if you're not sure about whether the condom came off and you penetrated with out one you should consider testing just to make sure.

Not necessarily - without seeing your 'blisters' they could be thrush. See a healthcare professional to get a proper diagnosis. If this isn't possible for a few days for whatever reason, try keeping the area dry and treating it with 2% Canesten cream or similar. Will clear up in a few days if it is thrush.

ha ha.....you're too funny, "you should wear condoms that fit"

feeterrible - you need to get a hold of yourself man.  Just ask yourself if it's really worth it after everything you're going through.  no one can say what your risk is, but it's probably low if the condome slipped off when you withdrew.  Otherwise all you can do is wait and get tested.

bottom line is - you have active symptoms that are worrying you so you need to be seen. don't self treat - be seen today or tomorrow and get a proper exam and testing done so that you can get accurate answers quickly!  We are very limited as to how we can help you on an online forum and you need a proper work up at this point.

no it will not be. if you have symptoms, you need a lesion culture done.

Re any comment from me - Grace is right, you need to see someone to get properly diagnosed. Self-treating will make the physician's job more difficult so best just to go as soon as possible.

Re getting thrush - you can get it at any time (I often suffer from it so I know) but when it's sex related it tends to be a day or two afterwards. I can't comment on likely timing of first symptoms after exposure to HSV.

I just called my doc, he said since the blisters seems to be recovering, very high possibility that what I got is herpes, but still to wait for the blood test to confirm this. is this true?

posting over and over again isn't going to get you quicker answers. you need to be seen today or tomorrow and get a proper work up done.  we are quite limited as to what we can do here to help you.

i called the doc n found out that the test is only for hsv2, he said hsv1 test is not required because most of the genital herpes are hsv2, i have doubt because what I read so far, most of the genital herpes from oral sex is hsv1? What is the odds of getting hsv2 from oral sex?

you need a lesion culture done of your symptoms.  You need tested for both hsv1 and hsv2 since you had sex and oral sex both.

you can get hsv2 from protected sex but it's incredibly unlikely you'd get it from oral sex.

my blood test came back negative, the test was igG and the result is 0.0 for HSV2, the doc said the test is conclusive and no more test is needed unless I want to test for HSV1?

your provider is misinformed. it was far too early for blood testing to be done and your provider should've done a lesion culture of symptoms for you since your exposure was hsv1, not hsv2.

at this point nothing you can do. it's too late for a lesion culture. even hsv1 igg blood testing at this point isn't going to be of much help. You can ask them to call the lab they used to add on hsv1 testing if they still have your blood specimen just to get a baseline hsv1 result. should your symptoms ever reoccur, be seen promptly at a provider who isn't so clueless about herpes for further work up.

so I am confirmed negative for HSV2 and just need to test for HSV1 or need to test for HSV2 again in the future if this is my only exposure?
