STD risk from a broken condom

I had an encounter with a sex worker and we had sex with a condom. During vaginal intercourse I felt the condom break and immediately pulled out - it popped at the very tip. I replaced it right away and we continued. I am a bit worried and have a couple of questions:

1. What are my chances of contracting an STD?

2. Should I definitely get tested? And if so, how long should I wait?

Hi and welcome. Well thats a good question. Some experts might say this was low risk due to the direct exposure time, so the question is would this be considered unprotected sex? If it were me and had a life long partner that was concerned about, maybe best to get tested before having unprotected sex with them. If single and no worries then wait a week to see if any symptoms arise.

hi,
gono and chlamydia   1 week
syhpllis      6 weeks
herpes        3 months
hiv             3months

usually with gono youll get white discharge and burning urination in about a week, chlamydia an itching in the urethrea and slight discharge (but are times no symptoms with chlamydia.) But if your going to get tested then do a full screening.

if you test neg you can go about your business as usual 954 out!

954 in da house! Life, thanks for the answer. So, is a week sufficient time before testing? If I test negative at that point, should I assume I'm in the clear?
