Side affects from trichomonas

What are the long lasting side affects from trichomonas? I know someone that is saying that she has rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis and fibromyalgia from when she had trichomonas 4 years ago. Does trichomonas get reported to the Health Department?

Trich gets reported in some states, not in others.

I've never heard of those being a complication of trich.  I even did some quick googling to see if I could find that, and couldn't find anything.

I suppose that's what she wants to believe, but the most I've ever heard is that trich may cause PID in women.

Gonorrhea can cause arthritis, but that's also really rare.
