Swollen Lymph nodes in groin

I've recently noticed that my lymph nodes in my groin have been very swollen lately.  It wasn't until the past two days that they actually started to become painful. My left side is more swollen than my right and is also alot more painful.  It feels like it's bruised and even hurts to walk.  Could this be some sort of STD? I am sexually active but I've only been with one guy for the past 2 years and he has been tested and his results said he does not have an STD.
