Syphilis Test Results

I am a 19 year old male. About a month ago I had two bumps in my pubic area and thought that they might be from syphilis. My risk was being the insertive partner of unprotected oral sex with another man of unknown syphilis status. I went to the doctor and he said that he did not think they were syphilis, probably just pimples. I had a blood test to be sure. This was 25 days after my risk. The test came back negative. I have not had any other noticeable symptoms. It has now been 7 weeks since my possible exposure. Can I rely on that negative test?

6 weeks is conclusive...canker can show up anywhere from 21 days to 90 days.

Ok well I already went to the doctor and he said it didn't look like syphilis. I'm really just wondering if I took a blood test too soon (after 25 days). Would the test catch it if a chancre is present?

Google a syphilis sore and if it looks like that see a Dr.

Well I'm pretty certain the second spot is a pimple which means that the other one could still be syphilis right?

Syphilis shows with 1 sore...your syphilis are not related to syphilis. Don't squeeze or pop anything.

By the way, one of the pimples is still there. It is not quite so pronounced now. It hurts a lot when I try to squeeze it.
