I also tested positive for Hep C antibody test then they did the quantity test and it was negative, no hep c found in my blood. That was 9 weeks after any possible exposure, can I accept this test as well?
Can anyone help me?? I don't know if these tests are too soon or too late. I'm losing my mind!
You can believe those tests. You get one syphilis sore and when you get that testing would be conclusive.
Omg thank you so much!!! I got my final negative hiv test at 13 weeks and I was just so worried about this. So it's never too late to have an RPR done, right?
Sorry to bug you Vance2335, when you said I can believe those tests did you mean the hep c one too?
Syphilis...I have no info on Hep, will have to post in that forum.
Thank you. Also not sure if you saw my other question but is it ever too late to test for an RPR that would have caused me a false negative test?
No such things as a late test
Glad your tests came out negative!
Last question!!! Could antibiotics for a yeast infection affect the RPR test I had in December?! It was Flagyl (metronidazole)
I started the antibiotics november 25th for 7 days. My test was negative on December 8th.
