This needs to end!

23, male. I have posted here before and I feel like I haven't gone into better detail with what has been happening to me. Well, here it goes.

July 22, 2014: unprotected vaginal (30 seconds) and oral sex (two minutes) with a girl I met over the internet. My penis immediately felt discomfort after the encounter.

July 27, 2014: Discomfort turns into pain in urethra and was pooping blood. Go to an urgent care and get tested for gono and chlamydia. Prescribed Zithromax (1 a day for 5 days) and Doxycycline (2 a day for 10 days). Also prescribed Docusate (1 a day for 30 days) for blood in stool.

July 30, 2014: Urine test comes back negative. Relieved, but still feel constant pain in urethra. No relief from pills, doctor says to stop taking them.

July 31, 2014: Urgent Care again. Urine test for Gono and chlamydia. Prescribed Levaquin (1 a day for two weeks). That night I was really stressed, not sure if it was from Levaquin or from thinking I had HIV. In either case I only took 1 pill and stopped after.

August 4, 2014: Urine test is negative. Go to family doc and tested for gono and chlamydia (Urine), HepC (blood), syphilis (rpr), and HIV (Antibody).

August 5, 2014: Negative for everything. Still feel constant burning in urethra.

August 6, 2014: Go to Urologist. Urine test for Gono and chlamydia. Schedule B27 Antigen Blood Test, U. Urealyticum Urine test and Kidney Ureter Bladder Xray. Prescribed Pyridium which doesn't help much.

September 3, 2014: Go to Urologist. All tests are normal. Scheduled Cystoscopy.

October 1, 2014: Go to Urologist and have Cystoscopy. Normal besides a urachal remnant, which he says is not causing the problem. Schedule cat scan.

I am patiently waiting for the cat scan and hoping that something turns up. I need this to go away and get my life back on track. Symptoms I experience to this day (78 days since exposure) are constant 24/7 urethra pain, burning when I urinate, painful when I ejaculate, yellowish diarrhea and cracks and redness on the head of my penis. The foreskin looks somewhat red and irritated as well. Questions I have at this point:

1) Are there instances like this where a person had to deal with this the rest of their life?

2) I have read about the possibility of a yeast infection occurring in circumcised males. Could this be the most likely culprit if my penishead and foreskin are red?

3) I think when I took the first pill, I did feel relief. I really wish I would've finished it out. Should I try again to take the Levaquin?

4) Since it has been 78 days straight that I have dealt with this, could it be too late to treat and I will have to deal with burning urethra the rest of my life?

5) Could this be E. Coli since I am experiencing both bladder and bowel trouble?

6) I highly doubt that this is stress induced. The whole month of September I was not stressed about this at all and still had symptoms. Could this still be a possibility?

Anything you guys can say will be greatly appreciated. I apologize for posting multiple times, but I just need some assurance.

1) No clue, but can say this is not a STD
2) Might be
3) That is a decision left up to a Dr
4) If it is actually something and not anxiety then it can be cured
5) Out of my area of knowledge
6) Yes

Another question. The past few days I have taken AZO Cranberry pills. I thought they could, but I feel they have had the opposite effect, because my urethra literally feels like it's on fire. Could this be the culprit?

Okay. I gave a blood test today that'll check if I am safe to have a cat scan. Also, I've scheduled an appointment today with the doc and will try to get anxiety pills. I'll keep ya posted!

Doc today said that this maybe Interstital Cystitis. First thing he wants me to change is my diet, and he has also prescribed me an hydroxyzine and clotrimazole. He said that the cracks and the overall penis looked normal. So here is what I will be taking and hopefully it will make a difference:

Phenazopyridine: 2 pills 3x a day.

Hydroxyzine: 1 pill 4 times a day.

Clotrimazole: Apply cream twice a day for 7 days.

Hopefully, this will change what I am experiencing and I can finally move on with my life. I will keep posted.

Today I have decided to say forget all this diet, anxiety and whatever else I was trying to play this as. There is no doubt in my mind this is an std. I have called the uro again and asked for them to prescribe me Levaquin. I don't know why I have been so stupid, but now I will try the antiobiotics and keep ya posted about my status.

Hello everyone. Well, honestly I have changed my diet and it is working. I am not fully back to myself, but I believe that maybe this is a problem I've had for a long time and hooking up with this girl made me aware of it. Honestly, if the doc can't find anything, it could just be that your diet is too acidic. I hope to come back soon and tell you that I am fully healed and have lifted this curse. Any questions you have, feel free to ask! This has been the biggest learni ng experience I have ever had in life and I'm sure there are many more to come. Take care!

Update: I have been given a second opinion and this doctor said it could prostatitis. I have been on Levaquin for 5 days now (30 day script) and I think I am feeling relief at times, others it's inflamed. I think the combination of a good diet plus these antibiotics will help me feel maximum relief. I'll keep ya posted!

have you also had your stool tested for infections too?

be sure to avoid caffeine, spicy foods and alcohol too if you aren't already doing so.

I have made drastic changes to my diet. I have noticed before that when I drink alcohol, the constant inflammation worsens. I have not had my stool checked for infections. What kind of tests do you think I should take?

I just know that this is from my sexual exposure. I have never had constant burning in my urethra before this stupid mistake. I have to find what is wrong so any suggestions you can make will be much appreciated. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I just cannot reach it.

Update: Day 8 on Levaquin and still no relief. It is very mild discomfort, but it's constant 24/7 and still gets worse with urinating or ejaculating. Just have a few more questions:

1. Are there any other tests out there that I can take that would be more reliable than a urine sample? If so, please send those to me and I'll be sure to ask for them.

2. Can an std go undetected, and if so, are there any examples of this that you know?

3. If this is all in my head and I'm just imagining the burning urination, ejaculation, red penishead and cracks on penis, will this be cured by talking to a counselor? I need all the reassurance I can get. The only other contributing factor to this that I can think of is that before this encounter I was a virgin. Never did anything but kiss a girl in the 7th grade. I used to be so happy and full of life and now it's so depressing to go on with life with nuisance of an unknown disorder.

4. Are there any proven vitamins, food, drinks, etc. that would guarantee me some relief. I did notice some relief with sodium bicarbonate, but it has lost its effectiveness and I don't know why. I have cut out all spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, bread and vast other things.

5. Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

Update: Day 10 on Levaquin and I think I am finally feeling some relief after three and a half months of persistent burning. It only burns when I **** now. Also, the girl I slept with kept telling me I was crazy, but she finally took an STD Panel and she tested positive for Chlamydia. The only thing I am confused about is that I tested negative for Chlamydia four times using urine cultures. Questions I have:

Is it possible that I caught chlamydia from her despite negative tests?

Are there any other tests the doctor can do to such as prostate fluid, semen, stool, etc?

So you were reinfected by that girl for 3months?does your urine test has pus cells?

I was not reinfected. I've only been with this girl one time three and a half months ago. Gave like ten urine samples over these months and nothing comes up. I hope the Levaquin solves it, but I've been on it 11 days and sometimes I feel normal, others my urethra burns.

Update: Levaquin has no effect still. Went to Doc and he has given me 2 weeks Doxycycline and 2 Weeks Flagyl. Really hoping this is my answer and I can go on with my life. I'll keep ya posted!

so honestly...this problem cause by STD?

I am 99.9% sure it is an STD. The other .1% is the thought that this has been a chronic problem of mine, and only after having sex did I notice it. I am not sure what to believe, my mind is very scrambled after these three long months. I am just hoping that the pills work. If they dont, then I'll have to try others and if they don't work, then I guess I'll just have to get over it. 1 day done with the Flagyl, Doxy and no relief. I'll keep ya posted!

I don't think so. I'm positive it's either trich, chlamydia or some other STD. But yes it is a possibility. Its not really pain anymore, just more or less a constant 24/7 irritation. It's very mild, probably as mild as it can get, but is still a problem that I hope goes away soon. I am not sure if my semen is thick er than usual, but it does hurt to ejaculate. That is another things that is making me depressed, I just want to feel normal again.
