Vaginal tearing and heavy bleeding during intercourse.

I lost my virginity about a week ago. Unfortunately there was no fore-play and I wasn't ready for him. When he entered I began bleeding uncontrollably (I was told that the hymen breaking would result in very little bleeding) and feeling pain. I was spotting until 3 days later. Is it safe to assume that there was vaginal tissue damage? I was told that this amount of bleeding, even for a virgin was a sign of STD's. Is this true? If so, what types? I am planning to go get tests done this week.
The sex was unprotected and happened only 4 days after my period ended. I took the plan B pill about 12 hours after intercourse. However, merely a week after I started cramping and bleeding heavily. It's probably the heaviest amount of bleeding I have ever experienced. Is this also a further sign that the tearing and bleeding was a result of an STD?

Thank You.

You need to see a Dr for your issue and use condoms everytime.
A STD will not show up for at least 2 days so what happened during the act is nto STD related. Bleeding is not a common symptom for a STD, but I would advise you to see a Dr for an exam and to test.
