Very Afraid

Hello.  I met a guy several weeks ago who claim to be HIV negative.  Yesterday, we had an encounter where we exchange M2M oral sex, no ejaculation.  Some oral to anal sex.  When he masturbated on me, it is possible that a very small amount of semen went into my eye.  Can HIV been transmitted this way?  I have no reason to believe that he was HIV positive.  However, I am concerned at the possibility.  If anything, what should I be concern about.  Is the test that can detect the DNA of HIV early in the process, before 6 weeks, 3 months or 6 months, considered accurate?

The DNA test is 90% accurate at 24 or 28 days, I think (I can't remember which one exactly), so there isn't a huge difference in the 2.

3 months later. As AJ just said, "the rest by the end of 3". Don't waste time and go talk to your doc, okay? He will answer all your questions.

See you. Good luck. :)

At what point is the DNA test accurate.  This happened less than 48 hours ago.  If I decided to do the test, how long should I wait?

Its a possibility that this would transmit HIV, but not very likely.

Yes, the DNA test is accurate, but so is the antibody test, and you won't get a lot of different info from the DNA test than you would from the antibody test, and you might save some money by doing the antibody test.

90% of people will show positive by the end of 1 month, 95% by the end of 2 months, and the rest by the end of 3.
