What could this be?

I have this one pimple on the upper right hand corner of my lip. It comes and goes once every couple months and doesn't hurt. There is also only the one that ever shows up. What could this be? Thank you.

Alright, thanks, but if it was just a pimple would it be just one pimple appearing in the same place every time?

Based on your description it seems that you have pimples every now and them.
I see no reason to be worried.

If this is Herpes, it's almost definitely HSV1 (the strain that causes almost all oral infections), not HSV2 (the one that causes most genital infections.)  Oral HSV1 is not a big deal and definitely not something to be "really worried" about.  Most people have oral HSV1 from their childhood, it's not even classified as an STD.

That said, your pimple doesn't sound like Herpes anyway.  Read up on cold sores, that's what you would have if you had symptomatic oral Herpes.  If you need reassurance go see a dermatologist as soon as you get another one and s/he can swab it.  If it actually is oral Herpes the only way it affects your life is you shouldn't perform oral sex or share drinks with people while experiencing a cold sore.  Seriously, not a big deal, shouldn't bother you at all, most of your friends and family have the exact same thing.

It was very small (I popped it) and it didn't leak any clear liquid that I could see, it just bled a bit. I'm really worried. Any help would be great.
