Here goes ..I'm 28 year old male .who is sexual active I recentley started to have sum clear discharge and the urge to pee a lot.I have had these symptoms before and tested negative for STDs and was given doxy 100 mg 2x a day I guess for my symptoms witch went away .But the last time the discharge was more like a milk color .and my only risk for exposure was unprotected oral sex..so this time when I seen the discharge I didnt freak out right away bcause I seen this b4 the only diff is this is clear and has not changed since I first seen it and it has been almost a week now..so 2days after I seen the discharge I went to the STD clinic in my area they took a urine sample and gave me a swab test to see if I had trichomoniasis .I told the doctor what my symptoms were and that i was here pretty much 2 months ago for the samething except this discharge is clear..so she looks at the swab she took from my penis an says..I don't have tirch she. It has now been a full week since the first seen the clear discharge and 5 days since the swab test.I haven't been able to see the regular doctor because I'm working and it's really hard to get an appt..Im hoping I can find one who takes walk -INS this weekend..so that's my history so my questions are.. Can the doctor look at my swab Test and determine if I have any STDs??? Could the doctor have swabed me to hard that what causing the painful feeling when I urinate? If it was an STD wouldn't the discharge have changed to yellow green or something pus like an not remain clear? Please help thanks in advance
Because I'm still waiting on my lab results and don't want to re test for the same thing because I don't have insurance and tests can get expensive ..
Maybe I'm not being clear with my questions I pretty much need a yes or no.. So my question is can I be confident with the swab test the doctor gave me that I'm clear from STDs? Or they can look under a microscope and tell?
With a swab usually tests are done.
You have to be diagnosed before you know for other to be tested. But if this is NGU, then NGU is ofyen caused by common mouth bacteria. Nothing to really test for in the mouth becuase as I said, just common bacteria.

Thanks for your help should my sexual partners also be tested...and can the doctor tell If I have an STD by swabbing the inside of my penis..
Thought you said it went away. But anyway, this might be NGU a urine sample could check for that. Or it might be prostate issue.
