What is this?

so, i went to the doctor about a month ago with a problem. i had bumps all underneath my foreskin, the head of my penis was scaly and had lines (i think they are called fissures) and the entire area was red and sensitive.

he took one look at it and said it was a yeast infection. i went back after using the cream, because it was still bothering me, and he said "well, maybe you have herpes"

blood tests were run and i came back with nothing. i have had this problem for over 2 months now, which is WAY longer than a herpes outbreak lasts, and i never had blisters, nor did they pop and scab over.

my symptoms are/were:

redness under foreskin
sensitivity
small bumps underneath foreskin all the way around
small bumps on head
glossy appearance under foreskin
rough appearance of head
painful urination (lasted a little while)

i have only had 1 sexual partner, and we were both tested during our relationship and both came back with nothing. im at wits end here because the yeast infection cream only made the redness go away, the small bumps are still there.

here is a picture of the problem:

the bumps on the right are not as large as they appear. the shadow makes them look big. the bumps ARE NOT warts or blisters, just small raises in the skin. they are not hard, and i cannot pop them.

when i get an erection, they are noticable. i recently quit masturbating, and thought i might have extra testosterone or something, so i started back up again. afterwards, my foreskin and penis stay a bit swollen after the erection has subsided.

any idea on what this could be? is the yeast infection just taking a long time to go away? i am using ketoconazole, prescribed by my doctor, which seems to work better than the over the counter stuff i was using.

thanks

we do not look at pictures. this is explained in our read before posting post.

it can take awhile to get rid of fungal infections. if after a week of using the new cream it isn't better, see a dermatologist.

odds are neither you nor your partner have ever been tested for herpes before. discuss if it's worthwhile you both getting tested for peace of mind.
