Worried about syphilis after receiving fellatio

I received an unprotected blowjob from a male 4 weeks ago. I am also a male, this was a stupid mistake but that's by the by.
I've noticed the past few days I have dry skin near the tip of my penis. I am circumcised, its just at the top of the shaft about 1 cm away from the tip. Ive looked at countless syphilis sores online and mines does not seem to look like one. But the more I look the more I freak out. It's more like a thin 'tear' or 'cut' on my shaft that only breaks when I am erect..I masturbate quite often so I'm wondering is this the case?

I receieved the blowjob for about 5mins, unprotected and did not ejaculate. He did not have any visible sores on his lips im just so worried that this small 'tear' is actually a syphilis chancre and not just irritated skin

Hi with no visible sores from him or open sores on your penis you can pretty much rule out syphilis. Cuts as your describing may fit the herpes profile. Best to have them swabbed within 48 hours after appearing.

Thank you for your response, it is a very thin tear, one that appears common amongst men who masturbate without lubrication. Alongside this, it is neither painful or itchy so I assumed herpes was not the case.
As for the size, its very small and thin

The tear/cut is almost non-existent until I pull back the skin or get erect and even then its only noticeable by the slim red line

Sorry the exposer was 4 weeks ago, this tear/cut issue has only appeared in the last few days but its completely painless and It doesn't appear to be a herpes sore in the slightest

You can pretty much rule that out. Since your sexually active you might want a herpes test just to confirm your status. As you know many many people have hsv1 oral and if you have then the chances from getting it from oral sex would be close to zero as getting it in both areas is really not possible due to antibodies. Just a thought.

Sorry for late reply, was at work. So your saying I can pretty much rule out Syphilis, as for Chlamydia and gonorrhoea I've read they are rarely passed orally, and the man did not appear to have a sore throat. As for herpes, I have had cold sores since I was a kid
