Hi,
Thanks for replying back to me, I have decided to take your advice, better safe than sorry I think. Have had a few symtoms pain, and itching but only very mild, i actually thought it was a yeast infection, how wrong I was. Thanks once again and keep up the good work. Xx
I might also mention....when you see stuff like "it isn't known to cause long term health problems" or other statements like that where they say it isn't known, it means that it hasn't been studied, and not that it's proven that there are no long term health complications or impacts.
ARe you having any symptoms?
There was a guy on here from a few years back and his screen name was StillHurting. He gained a lot of respect and posted over 800 times. He had ureaplasma but didn't know it until he finally tested for it months later. He did not get better until he was treated for it. Do a search and you will find some things he has written. It seems the doctors on this site don't take it seriously but they do take it seriously in other countries. If I were you I would get treatment becasue you don't know what kind of ureaplasma you have (good or bad). At least after the treatment you can rest assured that you're most likely not contageous with any bad ureaplasma.
