army std clinic

I am a soldier, but was never briefed about the std clinic. I suspect my girlfriend gave me oral herpes, and want to test for it. Is it confidential? How does the testing work?

Usually the military doesn't test for herpes unless you specifically ask for it.

hsv1 orally is incredibly common and odds are you do have it. If you do test + for it, the military won't do anything if that was your worry.

Don't know what kind of testing they do...you have to speak to them. Also would have to talk to them about testing length.

But oral herpes is not a big deal over 6-% of the population has it.
