cauterize penile spots?

I have penile papules on the head of my penis, which could possibly be hpv, although two urologists don’t think that they are. Anyway I was told I could get a 2cm biopsy to be certain plus I could have these bumps cauterized. I was wondering if anyone has ever had this done and what the scaring was like. Are there any pictures out there of a before and after?  My family doctor told me I wouldn't be happy with the results but I’m really self-conscience about these spots and would like them removed.

You should also google pearly papules and see if that's what you have.

The biopsy may leave a small scar, but instead of cauterizing - a really outdated method of treating warts - you could have them frozen off, and not have any scars.

I'm not sure but I may need a penile biopsy as well and would like to hear any info or personal experiences on that.
