chlamydia treatment#3 wtf!

I tested positive at an apt and was treated. When my ob did a follow up test it was still positive so I got the same treatment again. My ob called me earlier today telling me that I still have it! What should I do, they keep giving me the same meds and its obviously not working!?

That happened to me. My on gave me a powder to mix in water it didn't work then I had to take pills and it worked. Ask your doctor if there's anything else you can take.

I don't know why it hasn't cleared up we abstained from sex for two weeks like the doctor said and then used condoms for another week just to be sure and I still have it?  It doesn't make any sense,  I haven't been with anyone else and I told my bf if he cheated then we'd deal with it but I needed to know in case that was why I still had it and he said he hasn't been with anybody else and I believe him, honestly don't know when the hell he'd find the time. So I don't know what's going on with my body maybe rejecting the meds or something,  will definitely be having a long talk with the doc in the morning about why this is happening!

We both got treated on the same day, the first time with the same treatment then the second timeche got a different one than me
He went to the health dept. And I got mine from my ob, first time we both just got the one time dose of two pills, the second time I got that same treatment and he got a week of pills.

Are you sure he's not cheating? Over 95 out of 100 treated with chlamydia are cured on there first treatment. I had because my jerk bf gave it to me. He was having some signs of it before he got with me but it was my fault not to get a check up. He said he was clean but soon i got pregnant and i had an std check up and sure enough i had it. I took the one dose 4 pills but i ended up throwing up 40 minutes later a clear liquid with a bit of pink which i assume were the pills. I was scared because i didn't think they kicked in but my ob said I'll have to wait until my next checkup which at the time was a month away. I didnt wanna wait and harm myself anymore so i went to the public health dept. Got rechecked for std's and i told the about the chlamydia and she gave me a week dose of two pills a day. Anyways i just got a phone call and i was clear of all stds. So i guess the first does i took even after i threw up did end up working.

I tested postive and took the treatement along with my boyfriend and I still tested positive! Had to take the treatment again. I know my boyfriend didn't cheat so don't let the women who are saying ur man cheated discourage you sometimes it's just a pain to clear up. Take the meds the doctor gives you again and NO sex even with a condom this includes oral and anal.

How do they detect chlamydia? Is it in the urine test or blood work?
