fungi infection?

I am a male and received oral sex and have been tested for every std im pretty sure.  At 5 and a half months i was negatvie for HIV and Herpes so im sure i dont have anything.  I have been reading about candidas.  My crotch area always have feels like i have chaffing and I went to the doctor and he aggreed and gave me some anitfungus cream, it is helping a little bit i still feel it.  Could I have gotten candidas from receiving oral?  Are there any over the counter medicines that i could get to even out how much fungi i have in my body and stop from always having chaffing and fungi infections? Could i give this someone if i have sex with them?

You should keep using the cream for a couple of weeks past when the symptoms disappear.

My doctor gave me a cream about two months ago and helped but i came back and the cream i have now i have been using more 3 days and it has helped a little i think but hasnt cleared it up completely yet.  I didnt start having the problems right after i received the oral sex.  I started having the problems after i got really sick from some kind of food poisoning this summer about 2 or 3 months ago.

How long have you been using the cream?

If it is fungal, yes, you could spread it to someone, and yes, you could get yeast from oral if someone has yeast orally.

The only over the counter treatments are creams.  You might ask your doctor about diflucan, which is a prescription pill for yeast.
