how long it takes to have sintoms from herpetic whitlow after the infection? can you get herpes by fingering

i think the incubation period is like oral herpes, between 2 and 20 days.

i fingered my girlfriend 3 weeks ago and now i seem to have a lesion on my index finger!

i know a woman who got herpes whitlow by giving a guy a hand job.

and i think fingering a woman is much more dangerous as the finger is completely
inside a moist tunnel!

i don't believe my hand had a cut when i fingered her, but it seems the herpes virus is
very clever!

it makes  you think about what you do!

Your lesion, if herpetic, would be VERY painful.  Lots of things can cause sores, so get it checked out.  If its staph, it can be very serious and you'd need an antibiotic.
