i had about 1 minute of unprotected sex a couple weeks ago. NOw this week i had sex and i break out in pimple like bumps at the base of my penis and into my pubic hair. Each bump is at the bas of a hair. The all have white puss like pimples and can be popped. so i popped a couple and the puss cam back. they have now heeled and i am worried that they may be something more srious than pimples. please somebody tell me what you think....

The white discharge is unfortunately a bad sign.  Having penile white discharge happens about a third of the time with primary herpes infections in males.  However, there would usually be some pain associated with that as well.

My thoughts are that the rash, given the description, is still probably not herpes, however, I believe that you do probably have an infection and you should definitely be tested.  It's just that I believe it's more likely to be NGU than herpes, but the only way to know will be through testing.  Good luck.

The word blocked out should have been "puss-like"

Sounds like follicitis, which is fairly common.  Your description does not sound like herpes or any other STD.  Warts can't be "popped", and herpes would be sore and not really *****, so much as clear discharge.  Something like that could be molluscum, but given that they are all on hair follicles, I doubt it.

Though I will say, if you have reason to doubt your STD status, getting tested bi annually is a good idea, just in general.
