oral sex during chlamydia treatment

hi,

my partner recently got told she had contracted chlamydia, because of the length of time we have been together an based on the presumption we would both be clean we have unprotected sex regularly, therefore we felt it bes we both get treated. We have both just begun the treatment and we know you cannot hav vaginal intercourse during the treatment but we were unsure if we could perform oral sex on each other or would this make the treatment ineffective???

I would wait until you finish the medication before having vaginal or oral sex.  I agree with Still Hurting why take any risk at this point.

It would be much better to have protected vaginal sex than unprotected oral, as you can have chlamydia orally.  It's a low risk, but why take any risk at all?
