Long story short but here goes, I'm male, she was a female, don't know her

3 weeks ago had unprotected oral and intercourse, stupid I know

Few days later something didn't feel right so after 1 week I got tested. Had high bacterial levels detected that day so got given azithromycin to take before my results came back. Results however all came back negative

Since then I have had tender/tingling balls and since day 1 my tongue has been completely coated white which wasnt the case before

2 days ago got a small ulcer on bottom gum
Today got a small white blister on bottom lip (this is now 3 weeks since the incident)

Back in to the clinic tomorrow to see what to do next but anyone able to shed any light or offer advice now?

Negative for hiv with the 4 week rapid test (its now 35 days) which I'm told is 99.8 percent conclusive

Now had all std tests expect herpes (no real symptoms though) back negative

However, still have tender and tingling balls, frequent urination up to 15 times a day and also. Completely coated white hairy tongue that doesn't wipe off

Not diabetic, stndard doctors blood test came back all clear, standard urine test for non sexual infections also clear

Absolutely perplexed, all this started days after unprotected sex, I also had puss cells between 5 and 10 measured from the urethral swab at first Nd was given treatment as said above

Any clues whatsoever grace?!

And yes, in seriously worried about HIV even though I've spoken to to the girl and she maintains she's slept with 2 previous men both with condoms

all negative apparently however still have issues of frequent urination, white tongue, a swollen node behind my ear and tingling balls

ive booked a HIV 28 day DUO test Wednesday morning at a private clinic which is said to be 99.8 percent conclusive at 28 days (its now 31)

Hate waiting!

It just feels as though something is not right down there still, im weeing loads as well still. Also ive noticed that ive got a sort of white band across the top of the penis about 1 3rd of the way along (from body) and its about 3/4mm in width. I wonder how much of my bad feeling and that can be down to my constant playing with it or milking to look for discharge (that hasn't been there at all)

mouth still the same, seeing dentist next week

I guess once ive got my latest set of results, if they all show negative I can then rule out STD and start going down more traditional medical routes

im waiting for my 3rd lot of std test results, but since the last swab showed less than 5 on the puss levels for the first time, im starting to believe ive got something that isn't std related

ive had 2 lots of tests so far all negative

I suppose I could have HIV but must be unlikely

I await results now for my bloods, latest swabs and urine done at 4 weeks and fingers crossed all negative

im still weeing every 2 hours, so I suppose either the symptoms are very gradually easing off, or I will be going down another medical avenue to resolve!

at this point all you can do is to continue to follow up monthly as needed with the urologist for the urinary issues.

Thank you, what do you think about it going down in terms of the infectious puss cells but the weeing being similar? Also, excuse my ignorance, what's an edt?

oral herpes doesn't cause these symptoms. perhaps see an ENT specialist for the mouth symptoms.

it does seem a long time for the antibiotics to be doing their thing though and symptoms still being around

started them Thursday finished on monday

my dip at the doctors was all normal, and at the std clinic they did all the tests again including a swab inside my mouth which she said was for herpes?

my puss cells came back at between 0-5 for the first time which im told is the acceptable level and if that was my first test they wouldn't even treat me before my results came back

she said my puss cells being now 0-5 (last 2 tests were between 5-10) shows that the antibiotics have probably worked and that they are still working and the symptoms will start to slowly ease off. Im still feeling the testicles tingling and frequent urination at this stage however im not sure now how much im actually convincing myself its there and anxiety causing it as you say

the last set of results were back and negative for clam and ghonarea

they took my blood again yesterday to test for HIV (my risk is very very low apparently, 1 unprotected encounter with a young white English girl) I will get the result this week

I now wait to see the official lab results of all the tests done again yesterday (bloods at 4 weeks, urine samples, mouth swap and urethra swab)

still anxious but feel a bit more positive (terrible use of word there!)

did they scrape the inside of your mouth to look for fungus?

if your ua was normal, not likely it is std related either.  if there's not an increase in glucose in your urine, you know it's not that causing it.  more likely anxiety than anything. sometimes you start peeing more frequently and before you know it, it's happening all the time. think of it as a bad habit you have to break :(    drink lots of water and force yourself not to pee more often than every 2 hours for starters.

I went to my normal doctor this morning, he cant explain my oral symptoms (white tongue for nearly a month now, blister on lip, ulcer on bottom gum that's nearly gone now after 1 week, peeling skin in mouth)

he did a urine sample and checked it there for normal bacterial infections such a cystitis and bladder infection and it was normal so said its likely sexually transmitted

I did a test at 1 week all negative, symptoms have not gone, been on azthro, metro and am now weeing 15-20 times a day

did a chlamydia test at 2 weeks, negative

all im getting is questions, no answers and its starting to wear me down big time

im worried about hiv, herpes, hep b and stuff like that now

clearly this is sexual related, and is not curable by azithrmicyn or metrodinazole

I wouldn't worry about this at this point. drink plenty of water to keep your body flushed and if this continues all weekend, be seen monday for some repeat urine testing.  avoid sugary drinks, alcohol , spicy foods and caffeine too.

Grace, in now urinating probably once an hour, is this a sign of the antibiotics working or not? I think I may have a uti, in which case these antibiotics will be useless wont they?

Absolutely gutted, I'm part way through this next lot of treatment and I've just had a wee that really stang

Cheers again, as in sure everyone does I tried to build a picture of what exactly they were thinking and it sounded as though my high levels of bacteria could be down to something non sex related as much as sex related especially after testing negtive for everything

The doctor also said my oral symptoms probably are not sex related and are possibly being made worse or even brought on by my massive levels of anxiety and stress brought about by the thought of what I have got and the thought of passing it on to my girlfriend (we live a long distance apart so sex hasn't happened yet)

I'm hoping that the antibiotics clear up the bacteria levels and that over the weekend and next week my oral symptoms start to go as well

I appreciate all your help and will keep you updated, just had my 4th of 10 metro and feel drowsy
