questions about genital warts

hi, i just have some concerns about genital warts, mostly about future outbreaks and the spreading of it to another partner.

since ive been diagnosed, my boyfriend has tested positive as well. can we do more damage or re-infect eachother after weve been treated and the warts are gone? or is protected sex okay? what about oral sex?

if i someday want to have a child, how is that possible without infecting my partner? could i pass on the virus to my child?

ive seen ads about genital wart cures on the internet that say theyre fda approved. are these safe, or should i just trust my doctor when she says 'theres no cure and no way to tell if theyll come back even after treatment"?

I was diagnosed with HPV two years ago. The following couple of years my pap has come back normal. A couple of months ago I found a bump. Did not think anything of it. Now I have several and a small cluster of them. Will these eventually go away on thier own?

If you both have had the same strain, you can't reinfect each other.  All sex can be unprotected once cured.   You cannot be reinfected with the same strain.  And you cannot pass it on to your child.

Ignore the genital wart cures on the internet.  You can do cryotherapy, cauterization, or use aldara.  Or simply wait for your body's immune system to take care of it for you.
