sex and STD

im 23 years old and have been tested positive for chlamydia, ive just started treatment of a one off dose of antibiotics and so has my bf even though he was negative. Ive been taking the pill too and was wondering after the treatment has run its course can we have sex again as normal without a condom as im on the pill or do we now have to use a condom every time we have sex. its really made me upset as i'd only just started taking the pill and we were enjoying the freedom of not having to wear condoms. we are both completely faithful to one another, all the doctors said to me was that i couldnt have sex until the 7 days of treatment is up. they didnt say anything about having to use a condom again when we get back into our normal sex routine.
Please help if you have an answers or tips on what i should do or ask....

im new to this forum by the way

Assuming you were tested for other common STDs and were negative on those, there is no reason why you can't assume unprotected relations when your 7 days of treatment are up. The chlamydia will be out of your system(s) and you cannot get reinfected.
