so sore please help

Hi. I am a 23 year old female and I just got out of a long term relationship in which me and my partner tested negative for any stds (recently tested ) despite his symptoms of red shiny patches on his penis.  We were blood tested, swabbed, and had the urine sample test.  The other day I woke up with extremely sore genitals.  There were a few small bumps which I initially attributed to crappy razors. It also felt like I had a cut on my perineum which I also put down to shaving.  A day later the pain was worse so I inspected closer.  There is a white patch on the inner labia majors and the outer labia minora. It feels slightly wet to the touch but there is also a crusty patch where it's slightly yellow in color. I thought perhaps yeast was the issue so I tried some home remedies. I woke up today with many sores in the area.  It hurts to urinate and I can't sleep. I should be seeing my doctor soon but in the meantime any help would be appreciated. This is frightening me and it also hurts a lot. I've tried micronazole but so far it's not helping. I have photos but unsure how to post.

If this is indeed a herpes outbreak, how long does the pain usually last?  Are the first few days generally the worst?  I can't deal with it and I have an incredibly high pain tolerance!  This is easily the worst pain I've ever been through.

I have no body aches or any symptoms apart from in the genital area. Is it true you have to wait six weeks until after an outbreak to be tested for herpes?  What's the test for HPV? Also a blood test?  It hurts to walk not because my legs are sore but because of the swollen lymph node on my left hip.  I just don't understand how it could be an std when me and my ex artner both tested negative and didn't have sex again after that.

Sore and bumps can be many different things from simple irritation to HPV or herpes.

Could be herpes, but a doctor will have to examine.  Do you have body aches?

Obviously I am going to a doctor but not for another two days as I'm uninsured and the only doctor that will give me free sample medication is out of town until then.  I was just wondering if anyone has experienced similar symptoms.  I also seem to have swollen lymph nodes in my left hip as well.  It seems to only be affecting the left side of my body.

As for pictures we don't have a place on this site because we are not Dr's and even if we were we can't diagnosis you on line. You can post a link to them, but do you want just anyone seeing your vagina?

You would need to see a Dr for an exam.
