syphillis treatment

I was hospitalized for 14 days with injections of 24miu penicillin total per day, 6 shots per day,  for 14 days. My VDRL reading in November 2011 was 1:64 and today is 1:16. Is it cure or not cure? Please answer it  doctor.

Syphilis is only transmitted from direct contact with a syphilis sore. You don't have syphilis.

VDRL 1:16 today  after one year high dose treatment with pencillin. Am I safe to have sex with my wife now because we want a baby? Is there a totally cure of syphillis? Please response.

I have a blood test today VDRL 1:16 same as last time why?
I don't have any sexual contact almost one year, not at all! Why?

Yes it appears to have been treated successfully. The number may never go below 1.
