Yes, I agree, or pearly penile papules.  Google fordyce spots (the glands) and the papules and see if either fit.

Yeah, I think its papules... but they are really small..Are they going to grow up? What do I do?

by auntiejessi, Jan 06, 2009 02:33PM
You don't do anything - they are totally normal, and unless they change, you have nothing to worry about.  If they change, you might want to see a doctor to make sure everything is ok.

Isnt it going to be too late when they change?

by auntiejessi, Jan 06, 2009 03:06PM
No, and they probably won't change.  Since this is so concerning to you, why not just let your doctor check them out?

cause I saw pictures of penis which had them but they were huge...

Internet pictures are always worse case scenarios.  Some are very tiny, some aren't.  Just go see your doctor, ok?  This is obviously concerning you.

This is not an std, so you don't have to worry about that.

May be a
Sebaceous cyst?
Pearly Penile Papule?
any type of wart (example: moluscum (molluscum)), or any other skin infection?

Read up on it, but most of all, seek a dermatologist.

If it is a Sebaceous cyst, don't pop it. This is from wikipedia about Sebaceous cysts...
"Under no circumstances must one try to pop the cyst, as it can lead to infection of the surrounding tissue. The neck is a particularly dangerous region, due to the glands and blood vessels."

Also, this link is pretty informative if you want to find out more about the causes of Sebaceous cysts and whether you may have an infection or not.

One shouldn't pop a Pearly Penile Papule themselves I don't think....one should seek a physician about that
