yeast infection or herpes.

Ok so i'm a full on virgin, never seen it, touched it, sucked it or had any oral sex. yet i have been having kind of scratches and tears on my vaginal area and they go away after about 3 or 4 days but they come back once or twice a month. i looked up genital herpes and that kind of seemes to be a possibility. but i'm only 13 year old.

then i looked up yeast infections. i seem to have more common symtoms of that then herpes. and i know that it is possible to have herpes from family genetics. but i don't wanna get tested and have my mom think i'm not a virgin if i have herpes.

really freaking out here.

please help.

You need to get your mom to take you to the doctors to have this checked out. It's not herpes if you haven't been sexually active at all ( and as a mother of an almost 13 year old I have to say - thank goodness for that!!! ). It could be an infection of some sort - either bacterial or fungal/yeast or it could even be an allergy of some sort to soaps, toilet paper, detergents etc.  So as not to alarm your mom that you've been looking up things like herpes - perhaps when you tell her about it start of with - hey mom I think I"m allergic to something or something because I keep getting these weird skin cuts on my genitals ;)

and she's going to the OB/GYN next month. she has somthing wrong with her ovaries. so i don't think she'll get to mad.
