For a short answer to your question, it is no, in my opinion.  Supplements in general are highly questionable because they are not properly regulated, unless things are very different in your country.  Problems come up from time to time in the news.  Just recently, the New York Attorney General had hundreds of bottles of herbal supplements from Target, Walgreens, GNC, and Walmart DNA-tested.  Four out of five bottles did not contain any of the main ingredient listed on the labels.
