Canker sore during oral

Long story short, on New Years I gave my girlfriend oral sex, I have a canker sore (I know its not herpes) at the time, but didn't think anything of it. We also rubbed genitals, but there was no penetration at all.

Now, I come here to ask what may be wrong, she's about two weeks late on her period and said she's had an itchy burning sensation on occasion. She's been fairly worried about getting pregnant from the genital rubbing, and then remembered that I had a canker sore, and its come to this. She lives a good distance away, so I am unable to see this for myself.

What should she be watching for, or looking at? Could anything have come from my canker sore? Or can this all be explained with a lot of stress?

It could be a combination of both stress and an infection. Now her being two weeks late could be due to stress which happens often. I highly doubt she is pregnant b/c there was no penetration. Some will say pre-*** can get her pregnant but being that it was outside her vagina and sperm only lasts minutes once it hits the air, her chances are very slim. Taking a test would put an end to both your worries about her being pregnant....As for the vaginal itching and burning, that is a direct result from you performing oral sex on her with a canker sore in your mouth. I know you say it's not herpes (cold sore) but that would be the only cause of her issue. Unless she was burning and itching prior to you giving her oral. I say this b/c Canker sores are not contagious. Canker sores are ulcerations, especially of the lip or oral mucosa and can be caused by acute stress, trauma to the area in your mouth, allergies, or by a reaction to a particular bacteria. Cold sores and fever blisters are caused by the herpes simplex virus and are spread by direct skin to skin contact. When a cold sore infection spreads to the genitals it is commonly a HSV-1 genital infection. HSV1 or mouth herpes are commonly in the form of cold sores on and around the mouth. Genital herpes can be transmitted through direct contact with an infected blister or sore, usually through sexual contact. My advice is for her to get to a DR, get checked out and receive proper medication to control whatever it could be. Good luck!
