I already wear glasses as I am long sighted, have an astigmatism and am photo sensitive. I also suffer with migraines and more recently, cluster headaches. I had my blood pressure checked recently and that was fine. My iron levels were also checked in the blood test I had recently. They checked my iron and vitamin levels and my rheumatoid factor. All of which came back normal. I already know I have PCOS aswell. I wasn't ovulating at one point because of it and had to have a course of Clomid to correct it. I eat a healthy balanced diet anyway and my loss of libido started when I was pregnant with my eldest who is now 4 years old. I do not suffer with insomnia. I just find that even after a full nights sleep, I feel worse than I did before I went to bed. All of these symptoms have been ongoing for some time now. Atleast 18 months. Yes I have been on Amitriptyline before for the painful spasms in my lower back.
Stress, anxiety and depression and make any problems that you have much worse.
I was going to ask the question whether you have had a blood test for B12, but have just spotted that you are no longer deficient.
Pins and needles can be from trapped or pinched nerves, as well as from diabetes or a glucose intolerance.
If you haven't already had your eyes checked, that would be a good idea with regard to your vision and headache problem as you may need glasses. Blocked sinus problems can cause these symptoms too. You can do steam inhalations with Vick or Olbas oil in a bowl of hot water and covering your head and bowl with a towel inhale the steam. This will help to unblock your sinuses and clear your head of any congestion. My doctor told me to do this 4 times a day for a duration of 10 minutes each time.
Has the doctor checked your blood pressure? High blood pressure or low blood pressure is no good for the heart and can also cause headaches and dizziness.
Have your iron levels been checked out? Being anaemic can cause a lot of the symptoms that you mention including loss of periods. An ultrasound scan would show any problems with the uterus like polycystic ovaries which can cause missed periods too.
Make sure that you eat a healthy and balanced diet with fresh fruit and veg.
Liver and kidneys contain a lot of iron.
If you are taking medications, these can cause loss of libido as well as if you are tied due to your insomnia.
Some of your symptoms may be due to lack of magnesium in your body. Someone has recently recommended to me to try Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesiuim Taurate that are some of the best absorbable forms of Magnesium, but it can take up to 6 months to feel any benefit.
Amitriptyline is an antidepressant that is used quite often for restless leg syndrome and for nerve pains from arthritic conditions.
Best wishes.

Because your blood tests came back negative for inflammatory diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, does not mean that you do not have a degenerative problem like osteoarthritis. This is usually confirmed by xrays.
You will be able to discuss your joint problems with the physiotherapist, who will be able to help you to understand what you are going through and give you gentle exercises to do to help the joints not to stiffen up and to strengthen the muscles.
Keep a food diary to see if you can identify any foods or drink that makes things worse.
You may have a virus that is making your joints hurt. If you do any kind of repetitive work that can make your arm joints and fingers painful, so you may need to have a complete rest to allow recovery and then limit your time with rest breaks in between any work that you do.
As your hormone levels are fine, I feel that what you felt inside your vagina would feel wrinkly and dry because you were not sexually stimulated for the vagina to produce more lubrication. If you do feel that it is dry, uncomfortable with irritation, I feel you should get your vagina examined if the doctor did not do this.
With regard to your fatigue and poor concentration and confused speech, make sure that you are getting plenty of sleep and rest and also that you drink plenty of water (2-3 litres of water a day is usually recommended) so that you do not become dehydrated. Cut down your intake of caffeine drinks, like tea, coffee and fizzy drinks.
Being dehydrated can make you feel fatigued with poor concentration.
Sometimes a urinary tract infection or other viral or bacterial infections can cause fatigue, poor concentration etc. Did you get your urine tested for any urinary infections? When you urinate, do this into a clear container and observe what it looks like. If it dark in colour this indicates that you are not drinking enough water, or may have blood in it. If it is cloudy, this usually indicates an infection. The urine should be a light straw colour, if it is not, you need to drink more water.
Best wishes.
Hello Bhupinder. I spoke with my doctor and was sent for some blood tests as i have other issues like stiff, painful joints, extreme fatigue, poor concentration, confused speech etc. The results all came back normal, including my estrogen levels. The doctor gave me some anti-inflammatory gel for Tennis Elbow and put in a referral to physio and also psyco-sexual therapy and sent me on my way. Surely that cant be right? I have suffered with my joints for 18 months but apparently my rheumatoid factor was negative and it would seem no more is going to be done.
Hello,
Low estrogen is one of the causes of vaginal dryness. For this you can start with hormonal replacement therapy or estrogen that is delivered through a cream, tablet or ring placed directly into the vagina.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
