Risk inquiry

Good day,

Following an encounter with a sex worker about 6 days ago, I have been experiencing a persistent sore throat and a general feeling of being unwell. As of this morning, I have felt a mildly sharp pain in my urethra, within my penis. There are no other symptoms present.

Are these symptoms of stds? My encounter with the sex worker was protected for both oral and vaginal sex. But the condom used was initially left in the open in a room for about 15 mins. No breakage observed.

I would appreciate your help. Thank you very much

Good ashstark

Thank you for your reply. I intend to get myself tested in a couple of weeks time, which would put the duration of a possible exposure at around 31 days. Would you say that a test result would be conclusive if it is done as such? thank you

with condom the chances are very very low. For your peace of mind, get yourself tested after 90 days of encounter.

Good Day,

Following the earlier post, my symptoms now include some form of cold sweating, localized around my legs. Intermittently, the general feeling of being unwell can worsen a bit.

Finally, i recall that i had used a pair of tweezers to pick out some ingrown public hair located on my penis shaft. Would this wound contribute to my increased risk of STDs?

Thank you again for your help. I have not been able to concentrate on my daily life.

Thank you for your reply. It's protected even with the condom being left open for 15 mins?

You were given an answer already.  I would say no since you were protected by the condom.
