Hi Morgo2. Me too, have little or no sex drive at all. I am 31 this year. I have been having the problem for tpast 2 half years. was enjoying sex with my husband then suddenly, it just goes off. Initially I had thought that it was due to the cyst that was growing at my right ovary (I have since removed the right ovary1half yr ago, as the cyst was too big -- about 4 inches). However it is still the same for me. It has affected my husband's ego and performance at work, and had made him explosive and snappy at everyone around him, including me. I am actually very upset and depressed. I do not know what to do.
Hmm... heaps of diferent things could cause a drop in libido. morgo2 I think what the doc was referring to was Polycistic Ovary Syndrome? or PCOS. An indication of this condition are higher than normal levels of free testosterone in the blood, which was probably what was evident in your blood test. This isn't enough for a diagnosis however and only after an ultrasound of your ovaries are they able to say whether you do have PCOS or not. (They actually have to be able to see the cysts). But you don't need to be worried about the blood test, as women with more testosterone tend to have a slightly higher libido anyway. How long have you and your fiance been together for? Could there be external factors in your relationship that are affecting you on a subconscious level? What is your mood like in general? Are there any problem areas in your life atm, especially arising around the time your libido went down? If everything seems physically normal, I'd say it's more likely a mental thing.
Try Sentia pills for women. It helped me to return my sex drive after I had lost it because of the divorce.
