Intercourse Issues

Whenever my significant other and I have sex, it is painful to me, almost a raw feeling, and it results in a very swollen and red labia minora. It is so painful and frustrating that I almost dread sexual intercourse. I am taking birth control pills so this could be part of the problem, and I don't have any STDs.

Any ideas of what this could be and how to solve the problem?

relax. Your body will create the needed lubrication if you mentally relax. Even if you think you're totally calm and relax the bodies physiology is telling you there's something still on your mind. spend a little more time in foreplay. Dont focus on how it makes HIM feel. focus on how lightly touching his arms and pecks makes YOU feel. focus on the way you feel towards him, and not the future. teach yourself to indulge in the touch and the moment. maybe talk to him about having a couple nights where you don't have sex, but just massage. intimacy is not always sex. It can be the intention behind the touch. allow him to seduce you and teach him what you need to be seduced. Give verbal clues like " not yet. touch my arms some more".. etc. as well as the body clues like pulling him closer or guiding his hands.

It could be an infection, it could be that you aren't wet enough, etc... Make an appointment with your gyno and discuss it with him or her.
