erection after circumcision

I had a circumcision two weeks ago. Everything has gone well, the stitches have been removed and the bruising has subsided. However when I get an erection it is really small in length and there is a ring swelling beneath the head of the penis. Will my penis go back to the same size when fully erect, pre operation. It is slightly concerning. There does not appear to be enough skin to maintain a decent size erection. It all bunches up and is quite painful.

It doesn't surprise me because at 2 weeks out from surgery, the skin is still going through a lot of healing.  I think when the swelling is completely gone and the skin returns to its former elasticity, it's going to affect the way it normally expands.  It's a perfectly acceptable question to ask the surgeon about.  I suspect he'll say at 2-3 months after, you'll have had the improvement you're looking for.  I'm just theorizing from wound healing I've had from various surgeries.
