Over-Masturbation

I'm 18 and I've been masturbating for as long as i can remember. I have been a frequent masturbator, in that I masturbate at least once a day, and I've masturbated as much as five or six times a day, though this is infrequent. I came across an article online though that has scared me to death. It basically says that there are permanent problems that can occur from over masturbation, such as hormone imbalances/disorders, shrinking of the genitals, premature ejaculation, ED, etc. My question is: is this true that these can occur, and if so are they reversible? because I'm scared to death of having a sexual problem in my prime just due to some stupid mistakes I've made in my younger years.

I´ d say that the stupid mistake was to read that online article. Masturbation is a natural and healthy part of human sexuality and the desired frequency is a matter of individual needs. Especially in single periods without having the chance to have sex with a partner, masturbation is OK, much better than sexophobic abstinence.
