I had the same thing. Most likely a bacterial infection. It's probably not too serious but she should definitely see an obgyn for that. Bacterial infections can happen for many reasons but it's due to a change in the ratio between good and bad bacteria in the vagina. My bacterial infection was caused from my boyfriend. He is not circumcised which means there is a very high chance for bacteria to build up in the flap of skin and cause an infection. He didn't know that so every time we would have sex he would transfer some of that bacteria to me therefore upsetting the bacterial balance in my vagina. It's completely normal and An easy fix, just go to the doctor and if it is a bacterial infection all u would need to do is take antibiotics for 1 to 2 weeks and you should be set. In my situation both me and my boyfriend had to take antibiotics and we no longer have that problem anymore
Hi,
Your aunt should definitely seek advice from a doctor/gynecologist, and have a pelvic exam performed, in order to find out if there are any serious issues going on that she needs to be aware of. Painful intercourse can possibly be due to a variety of things such as: an injury, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), a vaginal infection, a sexually transmitted disease, Endometriosis, and so on. To put her mind at ease, she needs to make an appointment with a doctor very soon.
There are various reasons for not conceiving and painful coitus. She should have got guidance from her gynecologist. Her husband should also contact a doctor for this problem.
Why are you concerned about your aunt's sex life? That's kind of weird. Tell her to go see her gynecologist for help.
