Please help me,I'm 19 yrs old and waiting for test results

Hi everyone...Well I'm 19 years old female.Me and my boyfriend are taking a break but I don't think we will get back together. Before we both decided to take a break he told me that one of his "friend" told him that she has HPV genital warts, At first I didn't think anything of it but just recently I had a pap smear test.I go June 15 for the test results.I'm so scared that the test results will come back abnormal for something. After thinking about what he said I think that he might of cheated on me."I mean come on he would of told me about his friend that had HPV."Maybe I'm just jump the gun and freaking out. I don't know what I'll do if they come back abnormal and find out I have genital warts. Please help me.Thank you.

It's going to be okay just kekp calm. GWs are horrifying, but unlike most other viruses, your body is capable of killing it off when you are young and healthy. Also, warts are a low risk HPV strain, which means that they do not give you cervical cancer. He could have unknowingly given you a high risk HPV strain, and you would have found out next year at your next pap, and it may have been too late and already started to form cancer cells.

Get the Guardasil vaccine. If you are scared you have warts, and someone asked you how much you would pay if you went back in time to prevent them, then I'm sure the 3 $140 shots are worth it. Do whatever you can to get it, and protect yourself.

Good Luck

You don't know anything yet, so don't worry about it. You can't keep thinking of all the what ifs right now or you'll drive yourself crazy. Try to relax and then when the results come in, you can take it from there. You don't know if he cheated or not, so don't think too much of what he's said. People say stupid stuff or even make things up after a break up/split. hope all goes well. good luck.
