Std or nothing to worry about

Okay so for as long as i remember ive had these phases where my forskin will become somewhat swollen and have a white/clear discharge type stuff around the head of my penis, and itll last for about a week or so before it goes away. Now i cant pinpoint when this first started happening but i can be sure it was before i was sexually active, so the question is, should it be something i should be getting checked out or should i just continually clean under the forskin, another problem is the aniexity of going to our health clinic when i live in such a small town... Thanks for the help
