However, I would recommend calling your OBGYN about not having your period. Mine got a lot lighter, but I have always had one!
Yep, exactly... Just make sure to mark it on your calender until you get in the habit. My pills do have seven palcebo pills, but I have been on BC for so long, it is an old habit to know I take my last pill on Saturday and start back up the following Sunday!
since it's a 21 days pill, there's no palcebo pills rite? (inactvie pills) so i jsut do nothing for that 7 days even though i dont have my period?
No, you should wait seven days on your placebo pills, which I never take because I am in the habit of taking my pills. However, just do the week period time and then start your new pack. But if you still feel unsure ask your OBGYN. You do not want to throw your cycle off by not waiting that whole week. Go take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease!
I am on the same pill because it is all I can take w/o having SEVERE migraines! I have used it for years. It is lower in hormones which is why I can take it, but it is still effective is used correctly. If you have unprotected sex during the first month you can get pregnant. I waited a whole month before having unprotected sex just to be on the safe side, and we actually did not do anything until week three with a back up method. A pregnancy test will show up as soon as the first day of a missed period. I stop my last pill on Saturday and I get my period Monday evening or Tuesday morning like clock work. My periods are much much lighter on this pill and it is a breeze every month! :0) So there is my experience with Alesse. Good luck and I hope this helped!
