brown mucas stuff when i wipe and period ???

for the pass 2 days when i use the restroom and i wipe there has been this brownish mucas *** stuff is this normal i am 26 . am sexual active. i took a pg test and it says negative so. i don't know what this is.
also  in dec and jan i had 4 periods 2 weeks apart why did i have that and in feb i had a normal period march has not arrived yet any thing would be great to help me out on this brown stuff and why i had 4 periods in 2 months.

My wife said this is probably bacterial vaginosis, a bacterial infection of the vagina. See your doc, they can swab for it and anti-biotics will clear it right up. Nothing major but you should definitley get it treated....

its not burning and its not red just like a brownish color maybe like when blood sits for awhile and is dry you know how that color turns brown but i don't hard to explain and thanks on the period thing

Is it brown or a light reddish color?  The period is the body's job of clearing the uterus from he failed egg implant.  There is to be excepted mucus there.  But I don't believe brown is the color I would use.  Any buring?  

The period being off like that I would strongly suggest an appointment with your doctor to have them investigate.  No one knows you better then your doctor.  Judy may have different input and since she is female I can't argue with her.  I got the wrong parts.
