fishy smell

i had sex with this guy few months ago and i noticed that after that the fishy smell odor "appear" right after we done. Now, that am with my bf the smell stills there, i use rephresh but didnt do to much and the smell stills there, am embarrased by it, i dont have any itch, just the smell, and sometimes a white discharge,can someboy help me and figure it out what that can be?

Home remedies dosen't always work either. I as well have been dealing with bv going on two years now. I have tried different things but have never been able to compeletly get rid of it. I keep hoping one day I will stumble upon something that will finally kick it for good.

Jessie is right 100%. Antibiotics diminish all bacteria both good and bad. So once you are done with antibiotics the problem will return simply because you have 0% protection. Yogurt (plain with live active culture)is a form of good bacteria. You will have to do this over night for atleat 5-7 nights in a row before you notice change though. When you have sex it is possible for his sperm to cause problems with the acidity in your vagina, thus creating the fishy odor which is usually BV. It can lead to major problems if not treated soon and correctly. Trust me, I've been there and don't want to go back. That smell is terrible. Good luck sweetie.

if you read literature about bv it will all say don't take the antibiotics there are natural remedies to take care of this. such as soaking a tampon in yogurt will take care of the smell.  and then taking precautions with herbs to prevent it from coming back.  if you take the pills it will come back mark my words.  i have been dealing w/ these things for 3 years str8!

Bacterial vaginosis. That is one of the classic symptoms associated with the infection. You will need to get an antibotic from the doctor.
