1.  It's pretty normal.  Not everyone finds their sexual side this early, but a lot of people do.

2.  You will get pregnant if you have unprotected sex.  If you learn how to prevent pregnancy, by using condoms, the Pill, and/or other methods, you wil not be the one getting pregnant early no matter how much you like sex.

3.  There are no side effects from masturbation unless it is so excessive that you don't want to socialize and have a normal life.  Then masturbation's side effect would be isolation.

4.  It doesn't sound like a sex addiction.

5.  If you want to stop, try envisualizing the life you desire to lead without it.  Then take steps to create that life.  It is easier to break a habit when you are working to create something you want, rather than telling yourself "no, stop, no, stop" all the time.

6.  I don't think it is necessary to tell your parents you masturbate.  But as gymdandee says, it would be perfectly smart to sit down with them and tell them you would like to learn about sex.  They can clue you about a lot of stuff, such as protection from pregnancy and disease, references (such as books) you can read, and how to deal with the onslaught of sexualized messages out there in the media so you can have a normal life.

Ashley, Everything you said is normal! as for getting pregnant that is something that only you can prevent. it's normal to be touching yourself and masturbating and thinking of sex.
What you have to do is sit down with your mother and father and tell them you would like to learn about sex. This is completely normal. Don't be frightened to talk to your parents
