increase in libido

I am a 62-year-old woman who has literally had a huge increase in libido. I am not on any meds, am way past menopause and have no emotional problems that I am aware of. My libido had been next to non-existent since menopause and now I am in overdrive. My husband travels a lot, but that has never been an issue. I have no desire for sex with anyone but him, but now I masturbate many times during the day and my "toy" is with me whenever I am home. My husband hasn't been home since this started, and I don't want to kill him when he gets home. This started literally overnight about a week ago. Please help!!!!!

If this sexual arousal is intrusive or unwelcome then what you describe here might amount to what is known as Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder or PGAD. If it is not bothering you or impacting negatively in your life then just go with the flow and enjoy. PGAD is common after the menopause and is sometimes treated with SSRI medication. But take your time with this.
