Am i pregnant?

Hi. Im sorry to bother you. I have been on birth control for almost three months now and i have had sex on February 14th and we had used a condom. However, it was weird at the base of the condom not the tip, there was white wet stuff like where the base of the penis is. Do you have any idea what that is? The reason I am freaking out i because i had checked an ovulation calendar and the 14th was one of those days. I have been getting little one minute at a time headaches but that mght just be nerves. So do you think I am pregnant? Thanks a lot for your help.

The chances of pregnancy is low, but if in doubt, purchase a pregnancy test, then you can make a well informed, educated decision whether to make an appointment with your gyne who is the only person who can answer your questions and you can also call the office, leave a number and when he/she calls, ask questions and he/she can advice if it will be necessary to come to get check out....good luck. Nobody on here can give you a Yes or No answer. The best way to find out is to buy a test and check for yourself.

It is unlikely that you are pregnant.  Even if you did happen to ovulate while on the pill and you were taking it properly & sperm made it past the condom, the pill makes the mucus around your cervix unfriendly to sperm and it changes the lining of your uterus so that it's difficult for an egg to implant.

What you saw that the base of the condom could have been a combination of fertile cervical mucus produced around the time of ovulation & and mucus produced during arousal getting shoved up and around the base of the condom.

Even if (and this is a big IF because I think it's really quite unlikely that you're pregnant) a sperm made it's way past a condom & past the barriers put in place through the pill... Implantation takes about 5 days to occur & symptoms of pregnancy take even longer to arise once hormones begin to build.  If you're still really worried, there are some really sensitive pregnancy tests on the market these days that you could try taking a little early (around next Wed. - Thurs.), but they're quite expensive.  But really, don't waste your $$. The tests you get at the $ store work just fine if taken around the time you're expecting your period.  I've seen them detect a pregnancy 11-12 days after ovulation.

Try not to worry, good luck!

Doubtful you are pregnant.  The swimmers would have a lot of swimming to be doing to get you pregnant.  This is another reason that if you use condoms you should also use spermicide.  It will kill sperm so even if he ejactulated in the condom and it ran down chances are its dead.  Check to see if the condom box he used has spermicide on it.

Have you missed your period yet?  And morning sickness?

what type of birth control? if you used the birth control pill for three months and you took your pills as indicated at the same time and without missing any dosage, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant.
