Hello.
What you're describing is probably the result of your hymen tearing from penetration--whether by finger or penis or any other object. Some women no longer have hymens because of extreme physical activity, while others retain the tissue until first penetration. After all the tissue is removed, the bleeding should stop. Another possibility is that your partner has long nails or jewelry that is causing abrasions.
Also be sure you're very turned on and use lots of lubrication before any sort of penetrative sex; lack of lubrication can cause irritation. And remember: with great sex comes great responsibility, so be sure to use risk reduction to protect you from pregnancy, STI's, etc.
Naturally, if you're still bleeding after a few weeks, you should see your gynecologist for a check-up. Best of luck to you. Dr. J
Hello Cici,
I can see that you would be concerned..I think you should see a Dr. or go to maybe a Clinic who will examine you. The good thing is you're not having Pain and heavy bleeding..
Please do that for your self, also always make sure your boyfriend or husband's hands are well cleaned and also that he's not injuring you with sharp Nails or jewelry.
Once you get the exam, you will feel much better..
I hope you do this soon..
My best
D
