Be sure to ask your specific question so that you can get complete information. It's important to know what's going on with your body and what, if anything, affects your immune system, your lubrication, etc. Best of luck. Dr. J

Janice,
Well there is no itching or burning involved just that. it seems to have went away now. I have an appointment with a gyn but my appointment isn't til May27th. It will have been 2 months of waiting before I get in. Most places arent a big fan of my insurance..The whole reason I'm going is bc of an abnormal pap..I guess I'll just ask then when I go if that meant anything

Hello.

Please don't believe everything you read by well-meaning people. NO ONE can tell you whether these vaginal secretions are merely your usual vaginal lubrication or a sign of infection. The only way to determine for sure is to see your gynecologist. If you have any other symptoms such as burning, itching, etc., this could be a sign of something that needs treatment. It's also true that your secretions can change if you're beginning a new hormonal regimen such as birth control pills. If you're concerned, call your gynecologist's office and speak to the nurse--or call your local Planned Parenthood. Dr. J
